Amazing Yes!!! This book is freaking amazing. I'm a sucker for stepbrother romances and Bella did an awesome job with this book. Throw in the fact that Peter is a cop and you have one heck of a hot story. This book is my favorite by Bella. Peter and Emily are totally hot together and I'm kinda jealous!! Peter and Emily’s story captivated me and kept me intrigued throughout the book. I couldn’t put it down until I was finished with the last word. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an amazing readA fantastic and thrilling story! This book is amazing! One of Bella's best! The story of Emily and Peter, ex step siblings who meet up after 10 years under the worst of circumstances. They were very close while their parents were married but when Peter's dad gets caught cheating, both he and Peter are cut out of Emily's life. She isn't even allowed to contact Peter. She has a phone number she continues to text to periodically. Fast forward 10 years and Emily is now at UMass studying pre-med. While walking across campus one day she hears someone yell out "Emily, I love you". She turns around but sees no one. Later that night, she hears noises outside her apartment and when she goes to investigate, nobody's there. When she returns to her apartment, she finds writing on her window! Scared to death, she leaves her apartment and calls her best friend from her car. Her friend tells her to go to the police and she does. And she is surprised when Peter walks in the door. Turns out he's the Police Chief now and he vows to help her find her stalker. Since she can't go home, he offers to let her stay at his place and they spend a passionate night together. When he finds out the next morning that Emily's stalker was actually inside her apartment, he refuses to let her go home. This begins the search for her stalker in earnest as well as a relationship for them. At each turn, her stalker eludes them, but after a run in on campus, she figures out who it is. And he manages to always be one step ahead. Things are going as well as they can for Peter and Emily and then she finds out she's pregnant. Things come to a head when Emily agrees to meet Trevor, her stalker, alone in order to talk so they can end this. She tells nobody and it leads her into danger when he drugs her and locks her up in a basement. Frantically, Peter searches for her and finds her when a stolen car leads them to where Trevor has Emily.
